Tiger shrimp (Pennaeus monodon) and white-leg shrimp (Liptopenaeus vannamei) intensive culture model was carried out at My Long Nam commune, CauNgang district, TraVinhprovince in 2012. Six earth ponds included three tiger shrimp ponds and three white-leg shrimp pondswith total area of 19.500m2 were used in this model. White-leg shrimpstocking size was PL12 and tiger shrimp was PL15, rearing density was from 30 to 50 individual/m2. Water quality such as temperature, pH, turbidity(cm),Dessolved Oxygen, N-NH 3 , N-NO 3 , N-NO 2 were found in the rangesuitableforshrimp farming. Survey results on the algal species composition did not affect to the development of shrimp growth.
